Breaking Dawn

Hello all! I'm back! :D I finished Breaking Dawn on Monday morning and I had to get my house back in order before I did anything else! Friday night was so much fun! We had dinner and games at Marci's house and then we headed to Barnes and Noble. I got to help at the trivia station while we were there. It was fun, and a little crazy. Ok, so alot crazy! Because some of us Twilight Moms volunteered we got to get our books first! Yay us :) I was so excited to finally have that book in my hands! After we all got our books we went back to Marci's and had a toast and wedding cake. Tara made a beautiful cake! Then we started to read. I stayed until 3 reading, it was fun to read with everyone else, to hear gasps and groans and laughing. I don't think I was there for the biggest reactions though, I think I'd gone home by then. I would have stayed all night with those wonderful ladies, but Tracy was out of town and I needed to have some sleep to deal with my kiddies! I didn't go to bed until 5 though and then Jarik and Tiaree woke up at 7....on a Saturday. Figures. The other two were up by 8 so I got like 3 hours of sleep. But it was worth it! I tried to nap during the day but everytime I closed my eyes I would think about what was happening and I had to read more. I finally crashed around 9. I couldn't read as much as I wanted to on Sunday, with church stuff, but that's ok. I took the kids to school Monday and then just read.

I really enjoyed the book. It was not what I was expecting, but I don't think I had any expectations. It had a different feel from the rest of the books though. Like the 7th Harry Potter. Just different. More grown up. Not so simple. But I still really loved it in spite of that. I've started to read it again because I know I missed a lot. I usually enjoy a book better the 2nd time because the first time I read it so dang fast I miss things. I think after I re-read it I will love it even more.

Thanks to Heidi and Marci for working so hard and volunteering your house so we could have such a fun time. Here are my pictures from the night! I loved meeting everyone and I'm hoping to do more with everyone again! It was a blast!
